The class of 2018 also earned more than $939,950 in academic and athletic scholarships to various colleges and universities, along with 8 Missouri A+ Scholarships. Most of the students with Missouri A+ Scholarships plan to take advantage of the free years at a community college and then finish out at a 4-year institution.

 

College Readiness
The class of 2017 achieved an average ACT composite score of 23.5 compared to the statewide average of 20.4 and the national average of 21.0. ACT sends us this information during the summer following the school year.

ACT provides the following subject matter scores as a college readiness benchmark:
English Composition: 18 on ACT English Test
College Algebra: 22 on ACT Mathematics Test

Biology: 23 on ACT Science Test

A benchmark score is the minimum score needed on an ACT-subject area test to indicate a 50% chance of obtaining a B or higher or about a 75% chance of obtaining a C or higher in the corresponding credit-bearing college courses.
